1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4
The Legendary Ferrari Daytona
Painted the almost compulsory Ferrari colour of red, this example also features desirable options such as the tan leather Daytona interior, Cromodora wheels and air conditioning. This well cared for and nicely maintained Ferrari also features the preferred pop-up headlights. This is a great opportunity to purchase one of the most recognizable and desirable Ferraris of all time. The Ferrari 365, better known as the Ferrari Daytona, was produced from 1968 to 1973. Although still a Pininfarina design, the Daytona was a big change from the "usual" Ferrari. Initially criticized for not being as revolutionary of a design as the Lamborghinis of its time, the Daytona quickly silenced its critics by being an excellent performing car, outlasting those cars it was compared to.
Powered by a 4.4-litre V12 engine producing 320 horsepower (in North American tune), it is capable of 0-60 mph in well under 6.0 seconds and a top speed of 174 mph.
Priced at $339,000USD.
This car was for sale by Legendary Motorcar Co. Ltd., Halton Hills, ON, Canada, on Dec. 19, 2008. The facility encompasses the set for the Dream Car Garage television show seen on the SPEED Channel. For details, visit www.legendarymotorcar.com.
